Impressions Ian Fleming, creator of James Bond, was once asked where his Secret Agent 007 was born. "Pett Bottom, near Canterbury" was his reply. Indeed, the book 'You Only Live Twice' was written at The Duck Inn at Pett Bottom. It is is situated in a secluded area at the bottom of a valley in the Kentish countryside.

Service Friendly and warming. Owners have changed fairly regularly in the past reflecting on the service, but in general they are very helpful.

Food & Drink Good traditional English pub food like Steak and Kidney pudding, and of course duck. They offer some good wines to go with their food. Always good sized portions.
